From the 1970s to 2024, school administration has experienced significant transformations, increasingly driven by AI. In the 1970s and 1980s, routine tasks were predominantly manual, involving substantial paperwork and basic information processing systems. The 1990s saw the introduction of computers for administrative tasks. Then the early 2000s brought more advanced software, streamlining processes such as scheduling and basic data analysis. However, it wasn’t until the 2010s and beyond that AI truly revolutionized school administration, shifting from labor-intensive manual processes to data-driven automated ones, thereby significantly improving efficiency.
