Ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive academically is a cornerstone of public education. Especially in cases including those with special needs. Special education services are designed to provide individualized support to students with disabilities. The process unfortunately can sometimes be complex, expensive and subject to legal requirements. That also includes due process. For School Business Officials (SBOs), understanding due process for special education is critical to ensuring compliance, fairness and effective resource allocation within their districts.
