The national narrative is evolving. School Business Managers are moving beyond traditional college readiness and toward the “three Cs” of career, community and yes, college. School Business Managers work to ensure that students are prepared to enter postsecondary pathways that include both 2- and 4-year college programs, as well as workforce, technical and military options. They must also help reframe the conversation about readiness to include skills like financial and civic literacy, digital citizenship and the competencies that will make students AI-proof.
